i always had doubts and it was the internet that presented me with the ever-growing number of individuals who were going through a similar struggle.. i give the internet a 9 in my awakening.

Why were no sea creatures destroyed in the flood?
by smiddy inall the animals on earth were destroyed in the flood of noahs day apart from those in the ark ,apparently no sea creatures were destroyed in the flood , why is that ?.
this is not an issue that only affects jehovahs witnesses , it is one that affects all beleivers that accept the bible as gods word.. obviously sea creatures were not put on the ark , no whales ,no dolphins , no fish , no krill , no plankton etc.
you can fill in the rest .. so my question is , why were land animals / birds singled out for destruction ?, what wrong did they do to deserve this judgement against them .

It was the flood story that woke me up totally. I had all the question answered for me and I came to realize it was not true. So if that was not true what about the rest of the Bible. I liken the flood story to a craftsman building a beautiful house only to find he had one little leak in a water pipe. So instead of fixing the leak he ends up burning down the whloe house to fix the problem and start all over. Makes no sense at all. Still Totally ADD

I will take my time and get my anger under control. I have heard all you wonderfull peoples advice and with the best of my ability take a very loving action with my son. It just hurts when I think of all the things Mrs. ADD and I have done for them and their kids. I have some very good friends now in this area and have been talking to them. They have given advice very close to you all. Also they are learning more about the Wt. Cult they just can't understand or believe. They all told me they thought JW was some weird religion with friendly people who come to their door. Now they see this is not the case. They are also learning what a high mind control cult is all about. Thank you all for your help it has made me feel so much better. Still Totally ADD

Yes it happen again with our youngest son. This last Monday we got a letter from him telling us how unloving we are because we are no longer JW. He told us we need spiritual and emotional help because we are apostates and we should know better since I was a elder and we both know it's the truth. Then some how it's all our fault that we don't talk to our grand kids even though both our boy's told us to stay away from them and don't try to write or phone them. The other things he brought out is all cult thinking. My wife and I with heavy hearts have again been reminded how the worse thing we ever did was raise our kids in the cult. I really feel sick about all but this time I will not take this lying down. I will write him back and let him know it is them not us who is unloving. It is them who will not let us see our grand kids not us and we will give them the reasons why we know the Wt. is a cult and unlike them our house will always be open to them and our grand kids. I know some of you may feel I should not do this but both letters from our oldest over 2 years ago and our youngest has so much disrepect and hateful things I just can't let them get away with it. My wife reminded me I still have her and yes she still has me. Sometimes it makes me wish I did listen to the Wt. Cult and not had kids. I am still glad but these kids just don't have a clue. Both in their early to mid 30's and they think they know everything and we are just a couple of selfish dumb old people. I hate this Cult. Still Totally ADD
